There is a ruin of an old fortified monastery nearby, with full view of the sea, mainland and island of Paxos.
Regular bus services connect Kavos to Corfu city. Bus tours of the island and boat trips to Corfu city, Blue Lagoon, Parga and the magnificent islands of Paxos and Antipaxos are also popular in Kavos.
Kavos is 40 kilometers from Corfu city, 40kilometers from the airport and 2 kilometers from Lefkimmi-Igoumenitsa port.

Around the complex there are a number of swimming pools open to the public for free. At the nearby coast visitors can also access the complexs swimming pool and coast bar amenities. Free private place to park is available for visitors wishing to hire cars during their stay.
